The Meat Box Company would like to welcome a new contributor to our newsletter and website. Dominic Bryant, the Head Chef at The Old Rydon Inn in Kingsteignton funnily enough has found himself with a bit of spare time during the Covid 19 outbreak due to the lockdown and temporary closure of the business. With Dom having been a customer for many years and seeing us have to change the way we operate he offered to help with The Meat Box Company to inspire our new customers in the kitchen department.
Dom will supply new recipes and ideas every week which we shall share on the newsletter and will create a repository on the website for everyone to see. Dom is also linked on our Facebook page so it will be possible to leave pictures of dishes you have created and wish to share. I am sure Dom will love to give some feedback on your creations and may even wish to share more of his excellent cooking knowledge.
The first of the recipes Dom has provided us with is for his Kansas BBQ sauce. This simple but very tasty BBQ sauce goes down a treat at the restaurant. It can be used cold as a marinade or warm as an addition to Pulled Pork or any meat dish to give heat and flavour. Will keep in a sealed container in the fridge for a month. Fab on burgers- a bit spicy though! If you don’t like the heat remove the hot sauce from the ingredients.
